Steam Iron Specifications:
## Pre-Use Precautions
This iron features a fixed temperature setting at approximately 160°C. Before ironing, check the fabric care label on your garment to confirm its heat resistance. If you are uncertain about the fabric tolerance, place a towel over the clothing before ironing to prevent fabric damage.
## Operating Instructions
### Water Filling
1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet, then open the water inlet cap. Slowly pour a proper amount of water into the water tank using a measuring cup.
2. Close the water inlet cap after filling.
> Use only purified or distilled water.
### Steam Ironing
When powered on for the first time, the heating indicator will turn off after initialization. Press the steam button once to release steam. To produce steam again, press the button every 8–10 seconds.
### Dry Ironing
1. Lay garments flat on a smooth ironing board.
2. Plug in the iron and wait for preheating. Ironing can start once the preheat indicator turns off.
3. The temperature is non-adjustable. Do not iron low-temperature fabrics directly. Cover the fabric with a damp wool cloth before ironing.
> Initial use may produce minor water drips, which is normal. This stops once the iron is fully preheated.
> Never aim steam at people or animals, as high-temperature steam may cause burns.
> Empty residual water from the water tank after every use. Stagnant water inside the aluminum chamber may cause rust and degrade product performance.
## Ironing Guide for Different Fabrics
1. Place a protective cloth over heat-sensitive fabrics during ironing to avoid deformation or damage.
2. For blended fabrics, follow the heat resistance requirement of the less heat-tolerant fiber.
3. When ironing mixed garments, iron fabrics with lower heat resistance first.
## Cleaning & Maintenance
- Unplug the iron and wait until it fully cools before cleaning or refilling.
- Wipe the soleplate and outer casing with a soft cloth.
- For tough stains, wipe with a soft cloth dampened by neutral detergent. Do not rinse directly with running water.
- Remove starch and sediment on the soleplate with a damp cloth or non-abrasive liquid cleaner. Never use metal scrubbers on the soleplate.
- Clean plastic parts with a damp cloth and wipe dry afterward.
- After 5 minutes of heating, press the steam button to drain leftover water from the tank and soleplate.
- Place the iron on its base for cooling and storage.
- Do not disassemble a damaged iron by yourself. Bring it to an authorized service center for repair. Improper assembly may lead to water leakage.
- Do not run this iron together with other high-power appliances to avoid circuit overload.
- If an extension cord is required, use a 10A or higher rated cord. Undersized wires may overheat and cause risks.
